Getting more players.

LOL. Okay so heres the gist of it, I didnt really know where to post this so I thought this was a satisfyingly good place.

I was thinking while looking at our players online, And I thought. What if we did an "event" of sorts that we put on the Gtop100 banner message thingy saying that event for say either for the first certain amount of players or for a certain amount of time. If someone thinks that its a bad idea please dont Troll guys, Im just trying to think of ways to get this server popular, Or if someone has something better or something to add to this, Please Comment bellow, Also ill be thinking of "events" of sorts for this kind of thing and once I got one throughtly planed ill post it

I tried going to facebook and advertised in large populated servers.

@Kikko: That might not work a whole lot, because the players on the page you're advertising in are most likely dedicated to that server. Sure, a couple might come to try it out, but custom items are a big turnoff especially if they're not used to downloading files or have a slow internet.

Well i've also been advertising in failure of servers and low populated. ;<
